"Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."
1 Timothy 5:8

There's a reason we cook. Not because it's trendy. Not for the Instagram photo. We cook because the men in our families have always fed people. It's what we do.

When you fire up that smoker at 5 AM on a Saturday, you're not just making brisket. You're providing. You're saying to your family, "I'm here. I'm not going anywhere. And you will not go hungry — body or soul."

Paul told Timothy that a man who doesn't provide for his household has denied the faith. That's a gut punch of a verse, but it's also a calling. You were built for this. You were designed to carry weight, to bring something to the table — literally and spiritually.

Today, think about what your family needs most from you. It might be a meal. It might be a conversation. It might be showing up at the dinner table instead of staying late at work.

Today's Challenge: Cook something for your family tonight. Even if it's simple. Put your phone down and eat together.
