"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."
Proverbs 27:17

You cannot sharpen a blade with a pillow. And you cannot grow as a man surrounded only by people who agree with everything you say.

The brotherhood is not a comfort zone. It's a forge.

When Solomon wrote Proverbs 27:17, he knew something we've forgotten: men need friction to grow. Not fighting — friction. The kind that comes from honest conversations, hard accountability, and brothers who love you enough to say, "That's not good enough."

If you don't have men like that in your life, you're dulling. Slowly. Comfortably. But dulling.

Find your iron. Whether it's a men's group at church, a buddy you check in with weekly, or a neighbor who shares your faith — find someone who makes you sharper. And be that person for someone else.

Today's Challenge: Text one man you respect and ask him how he's really doing. Not "hey bro what's up." A real question. Then listen.
