Every pitmaster knows the fire does the work. You can season the meat, trim the fat, wrap it just right — but without fire, it's just raw potential sitting on a cutting board.
God works the same way in the life of a man.
The trials you face — the long days, the hard conversations, the moments where you want to quit — those aren't punishments. They're the fire. And God is the pitmaster. He knows exactly how much heat you need, exactly how long to hold you in the smoke, and exactly when you're done.
Malachi 3:3 says He sits as a refiner of silver. Not stands. Not paces. He sits. That means He's patient. He's watching. He's not rushing the process.
Brother, if you're in the fire right now — stay in it. Don't run from the heat. The man God is forging you into can only come through the flames.
Today's Challenge: Name one area of your life where you feel the heat. Instead of running from it, pray into it. Ask God what He's refining in you.
